PRINCIPAL

Melissa is a trusted and experienced Canadian government relations and public policy professional. She worked for the Government of Alberta as a political staffer and as a bureaucrat, at a global law firm as a policy specialist, and as a senior executive at two national public relations firms. Melissa started MC Consulting in 2021 and founded Pocket Lobbyist in 2022. She is regularly called upon by the media for her analysis and insights on public policy and politics.

Kati is a fourth-year student at the University of Calgary working towards a bachelor's degree in communication and media studies and political science. Prior to joining MC Consulting, Kati worked in corporate communications at an engineering company. When she is not at the office or studying, you can find her camping with her family, snowboarding in Fernie, or watching the Winnipeg Blue Bombers and Minnesota Vikings.
